Can Trend Micro Worry Free scan USB drives in real-time?

Trend Micro anti-virus do not provide real-time scan for USB drives. However, the files in the USB drives will be scanned automatically when accessed or opened. As an added precaution, Trend Micro anti-virus also allows users and system administrator to disable file auto-run when the USB drives are connected.

The rational behind not having a real-time USB drive scan is that it will take additional time and resources to scan the USB drives every time they are connected to the system. Since USB drives most often provide temporary storage, real time scanning will take up unnecessary time and resource instead.

The quarantine files can be found in the Quarantine File folder as set in the Trend Micro Security Dashboard for SMB | Preferences | Global Settings | System | Quarantine Maintenance
