Seminar PICTURES: phion - Are You Ready For Basel II Regulations & IT Security Compliance? - 2 April 2008

Today, financial companies like banks need to comply to Basel II, an international banking law and regulation standards. Basel II requires that all the financial institution implement risk management which includes audit of IT security. This means that applications like firewalls needs to be able to track all changes made to the system(revision control) and produce the revision control report for aditing. All these administration means a lot of work if it has to be done manually, this is next to impossible.

With phion's versatile Central Management, our seminar guests learn that all these are tracked and log automatically and reports can be easily generated.

We started off the seminar with the presentation of phion's Security Engineer (PHSE) certificates by phion's Area Sales Director, Albert Fragner and Chua Hwee Woon, phion's Business Development Manager for Asia Pacific, to our technical consultants David Lim and Alan Ng. Both of them successfully completed the 5 days PHSE training and certification exam last month (10 - 14 Mar 2008) at our ACA Pacific Technology Malaysian office.

Breakfast was served to our guests after which Albert Fragner gave a short a presentation on how phion security solutions have successfully helped major companies worldwide to meet their demanding security requirements without compromising on IT compliance. A lively discussion followed after the presentation where our guests shared their experiences and gave their take on the current technologies and methods to tackle IT security and compliance.

To all our guests and Albert Fragner, we thank you for coming to the breakfast seminar and sharing your time with us.
