Henry and Leonard (both from Trend Micro Singapore) and me were on the prowl on the last day of CommunicAsia. Not as crowded as it used to be, but there were still exiting things to see among the aisles of exhibitors. ACA Pacific had participating booths showcasing 3Com, Borderware and other security and storage products. Despite the lack of crowd and last minute visitation, we were not disappointed by the ever willing and smiling booth assistants to explain the latest mobile gadgets to us 3 techno dummies.

It was a beautiful cool morning. I was already up and ready. I've already packed my wife small Stussy backpack with a towel. The bag is meant to carry my T and track pants later. That morning we will be meeting Hartony's and his Toppan Management colleagues for a fun walk at the Southern Ridges. However, Ken and me thought a run along the beautiful stretch will be a better option. We were to be accompanied by another 3 more colleagues before joinng the TMS guys when I received my first SMS as I was walking to the Buangkok MRT station. Wendy was not coming and Sally was un-contactable. Oh, well... Ken ad me just made our trip to the Harbourfront without them to meet Hartony. When we reached our meeting point the weather had turned grey and rain looked to be on the way soon. Ken and me decided to start our run first and will meet up with the rest of the fun walkers on our return route. We managed to get all the way passed Mount Faber and almost reached Kent Ridge hill top when the it began to pour. We fought with mother nature cold morning wash but alas, it came to a point that we could hardly see anything beyond 20m. We sought refuge under a shelter till the rain stops. We didn't continue up and headed down for a good cuppa tea and hot beef soup. As for the TMS guys, we learnt on Monday that they had called the fun walk off when it started to pour.
